یک هزار و 451 دعوتنامه برای متقاضیان گروه پیشنهاد شغلی کارفرما صادر شد
در تاریخ 9 ژانویه اداره مهاجرت انتاریو اولین انتخاب سال را در برنامه انتخاب استانی انتاریو (OINP) انجام داده و یک هزار و 451 دعوتنامه (Notifications of Interest) صادر کرد.
در دو انتخاب، دعوتنامه‌ها از طریق زیرگروه‌های پیشنهاد شغلی کارفرما: گروه نیروی خارجی ( Employer Job Offer: Foreign Workers) صادر شدند.
- در انتخاب برای گروه نیروی کار خارجی با هدف مشاغل فنی (Skilled trade occupations)، 630 دعوتنامه برای متقاضیان دارای حداقل امتیاز 33 صادر شد. 63 شغل زیر در این انتخاب مورد هدف قرار گرفتند:

- NOC 22302: Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians

سیستم ابراز علاقه‌مندی انتاریو (EOI)
بر اساس عوامل زیر به متقاضیان امتیاز تعلق می‌گیرد:
- سطح و رشته تحصیلی و جایی که تحصیلات در آنجا انجام شده است.
- تسلط به زبان انگلیسی یا فرانسه.
- قصد اقامت در خارج از کلانشهر تورنتو (GTA).
- سطح مهارت و تجربه کاری، سابقه درآمد و سایر عوامل مربوط به بازار کار انتاریو.
- نیاز بازار کار استان.
- پیشنهاد شغلی کارفرما: گروه نیروی خارجی
این مسیر برای نیروی کار خارجی است که در خارج از کانادا بوده و از یک کارفرما در انتاریو پیشنهاد شغلی تمام وقت دریافت کند.
پیشنهاد شغلی باید در «مشاغل ملی کانادا» تحت گروه‌های شغلی TEER1، TEER2،TEER3 (NOC) با سطح دستمزد متوسط باشد و متقاضی باید بتواند مدرک (در صورت نیاز) یا سابقه دو سال کار (طی 5 سال گذشته) در آن شغل را ثابت کند. برای کسانی که در همان موقعیت شغلی مشغول هستند، دستمزد پیشنهادی باید برابر یا بیشتر از دستمزد فعلی باشد.
متقاضی باید قصد اقامت در انتاریو داشته و در صورت نیاز مجور شغلی لازم برای استان را دریافت کند.
